compLexity is very strong on de_inferno. It’s not that they do anything that out of the ordinary (with some exceptions), but they instead keep things as basic as can be and let their good aim take over. While it is evident that their individual skill is very much above-average, the way they play as a team is their strongest asset. Boosts, pop-flashes, and tactical baiting are all essential things that add to compLexity’s success on this very even map. It is clear to compLexity what it takes to win – and they rarely find themselves in a dire situation.
On CT pistol, complexity plays four players A. Their remaining player spots down banana, and in the event of a rush, would fall back and counter-flash the attackers. One person is sent halls to spot, and the three remaining players go mid. They have one player flash alternate middle at a designated time, which signals his two teammates in window room to peek out. After clearing alt mid, they fall back to play passive.
Concept: To be able to take out 1 or 2 terrorists who are blind in alt mid, getting the numbers in the favor of the CTs. Though risky, strats like these can pay off big time, especially in an important LAN match.
coL plays anti-eco very structured and passive. The two players at B create a crossfire, which ideally should prevent one of them from getting picked. At A, they play evolution spotting middle from CT arch, with hero spotting window room and NineSpot spotting halls.
Concept: If there is action from any of these areas, the player would try to get one kill and then alert his team, flash, and fall back to playing more passive.
