Mousesports came into the bracket round with lots of confidence. The Germans came off by topping their group in group play, taking first. Their first few brackets rounds came off as a breeze with easy wins against teams such as OUR GAME, Virus Gaming and ALTERNATE. Mousesports ended up playing a tight match versus fnatic on de_train, ending it with a tie score of 15-15. This upsetting tie enabled Mousesports to knock out fnatic as the Swedes did not have enough rounds to go onto the next day. Although, this tie enabled Mousesports to move on and beat Lions and Moscow Five. Unfortunately, Mousesports' winning streak was ended by SK-Gaming, forcing the Germans to fight for third agains the poles, AGAiN. Mousesports' placed a respectable 3rd place at ESWC and spectators hope to see them back on the throne once again in future tournaments.
