How does, say, taking a whole summer break of watching demos effect you in CS? =P
Seeing as I'll be gone pretty much the whole summer and won't be able to play CS, I thought it'd be interesting to watch demos of a couple of players (3-4) the WHOLE entire summer LOL
Would it actually hurt me or help? About average of 1-2 demos per day would be good.
and try to have a notepad with you, since you won't be able to apply them in-game right away. i tend to forget a lot of things i see in demos unless i have a notepad or i use them in-game a few times right after.
you have to implement each thing you learn as you go. you cant just learn it all then expect to be amazing. you have to take a concept and practice it a lot then move onto the next one. i promise you will not be great if you take that long of a break just to learn. doesn't work that way. it works like building blocks.
Ohh okay, I see. Thanks for the replies guys, and also as for pali, it's just that I CAN'T play for that long anyway, so I might as well just watch demos and try to learn a couple of things here and there.
Thanks to everyone though :)
